I’ve been known to read up on/dabble in/look for openings in/implement solutions based on:
intelligence collection and analysis (military and business), history and historiography, social sciences, literary and critcal theory, policy analysis and advocacy, complex systems, economics, international relations and foreign policy, political economy, knowledge management, communications and marketing strategy, product development and management, entrepreneurship, philosophy, and theology.
I’m sure the above sounds too good to be true. But when every breakthrough and innovation is interdisciplinary, it’s time for would-be innovators to break into every discipline. Or I’m just far too stubborn.
Some good books & blogs to read: [coming soon]
